Los Angeles (LAX) has a confirmed Alaska Airlines nonstop to La Paz (LAP), supported by the airline announcement and a July 2026 La Paz Tourism Trust update. For California’s other airports, Texas, Nevada, New York and other U.S. markets, compare connecting itineraries. This guide does not claim nonstop service from every state.
Published schedules and announcements describe a planning network. They do not guarantee seats, daily flights or operation on any particular date.
One U.S. nonstop gateway confirmed in the official sources reviewed. Check operating days and current availability with Alaska Airlines.

LAX–LAP is the confirmed U.S. nonstop route in this review. Other U.S. origins below are connection-planning markets.
No matching departure. Clear the search or choose another region or airline.
The origins below are starting points for connection searches. They are not additional nonstop routes or guaranteed one-stop itineraries.
Los Angeles (LAX)
La Paz Tourism Trust identifies these California markets as connections through Los Angeles. Select your full origin–LAP itinerary and inspect the connection and operating airline before booking.
Los Angeles (LAX)
Both cities are explicitly identified by the tourism board as connecting markets through LAX. They are not nonstop La Paz routes.
Compare LAX or Mexico City (MEX)
No Texas–LAP nonstop route was confirmed in this review. Search the complete journey through LAX or Mexico City, then compare departure days, total travel time and ticket protection. Do not assume the 2020 Dallas announcement still represents an operating flight.
Compare LAX or Mexico City (MEX)
Treat these as connecting journeys unless the booking result explicitly shows a nonstop operating flight. Older Phoenix–La Paz references remain online and were not verified as current service.
Compare Mexico City (MEX) and LAX
There is no confirmed nonstop from these origins in this guide. Compare a complete LAP itinerary with a Los Cabos arrival plus road transfer; a cheaper fare may add an overnight stop or separate tickets.
Compare Mexico City (MEX), LAX, or SJD plus road transfer
Use these as starting points for itinerary searches, not a list of promised one-stop flights. Check the full itinerary for the number of stops and an overnight connection.
Mexico City (MEX) is a practical search gateway to LAP, with an official Aeromexico MEX–LAP booking page. MEX and Felipe Ángeles (NLU) are different airports; avoid assuming an airport change is an ordinary connection.
Official La Paz tourism lists Guadalajara as a domestic air gateway. Search a complete itinerary and inspect ticket conditions; two separately sold flights are not automatically a protected connection.
Cross Border Xpress is a pedestrian bridge to Tijuana Airport (TIJ). Travel from San Diego to the CBX terminal is a separate ground leg, followed by a domestic TIJ–LAP flight. This is not a SAN–LAP nonstop flight. Check CBX ticket, boarding-pass and travel-document requirements.
SJD is Los Cabos International Airport, not La Paz Airport. A flight to SJD plus a separately arranged road transfer is an alternative arrival strategy. Include the vehicle cost, driving time and arrival hour in your decision; do not label this a flight to LAP.
Manuel Márquez de León International Airport
La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico
LAP is La Paz, Mexico. LPB is La Paz, Bolivia. SJD serves Los Cabos and requires a separate road transfer if your destination is La Paz.

No nonstop from those markets was confirmed in the official sources reviewed for this guide. Compare connecting itineraries or a flight to SJD followed by a road transfer.
No. LAP serves La Paz, Baja California Sur; SJD serves Los Cabos. LPB is La Paz, Bolivia, and is not the airport for this Baja California Sur trip.
No. You first travel by ground to CBX, cross into Tijuana Airport and take a domestic flight from TIJ. San Diego airport (SAN) and Tijuana airport (TIJ) are separate airports.
Compare the complete journey carefully. Separate tickets can mean collecting bags, checking in again and accepting missed-connection risk. Verify the airline's conditions before choosing a self-transfer.
No. This is a researched route-planning guide, reviewed October 12, 2026. Airline timetables, operating days and seasonal dates can change. Search your exact dates with the operating airline.
No. Airline fare pages can include one or more connections. Open the full itinerary and check the number of stops, operating airline and airport codes.
No. Century 21 Legendary Realty publishes independent destination guides. The airline links open the providers’ own websites for schedules and booking.
The La Paz pages distinguish confirmed nonstop service, connections to investigate and alternative airports. A search suggestion is not a verified flight schedule. Historical route announcements are not treated as proof of current service.
Reviewed October 12, 2026. No fares, departure times or flight numbers are quoted because these change frequently. Search exact dates on the airline’s official website. This is an independent editorial guide, not an airline booking service.
